My heart is breaking for my blogger friend Monet at Anecdotes and Apple Cores. Her sister and family were in a fatal car accident over the weekend and her 13-year old nephew was killed, her sister and brother-in-law are in critical condition and her other teenage nephew is at risk for losing his entire family.
This tragedy comes after her father-in-law’s sudden death in January 2010, her very young nephew’s accident resulting in severe brain damage in October, and her husband’s grandmother’s death a few weeks ago from dementia. Monet lives in Texas and has a donation site open in attempts to make it to Florida to be with her family. Please help them by going to her blog and donating any amount you can for their travel expenses. The remaining donations will go to a charity in her nephew’s name.
